Kids Only Acting Classes offers professional, comprehensive, affordable and tons of fun spring break and summer day acting camps for all ages!
We have acting camps for kids ages 3 - 12 and teens ages 13 - 17 years for beginners to advanced levels (summer only).
We usually run these programs throughout the year on a weekly basis, but during spring break and the summer we offer these programs in a special consective days program.

BEGINNER LEVEL -
Ages 3 – 5 10am – 10:45am $75.00
This popular 3 day/45 min. per day beginner acting class is lots of fun for your little performer! On camera drama skills plus commercial auditioning techniques. See if your young performer can take direction and be creative when needed on camera! Instructor: Wendy Bollard
Commercials for Kids - Ages 8 -12 11am – 1pm $165.00 -
Commercials for Teens - Ages 13 - 17 4:15 - 6:15pm $165.00 -
These 3 day/2 hr. day classes are a MUST for the beginner actor who wants to try acting and wants to know how to audition for commercials and get a talent agent! Lots of info and tons of fun! Even if they are represented; DON'T MAKE THE AUDITION THEIR TRAINING SESSION! Get Training that Fun, Affordable and Professional!
BONUS: Parents are invited to attend the last day for the "Business Chat" about headshots, unions, talent agents and more!

BEGINNING LEVEL -
These 3 day. classes pick up the themes of our 4 week/45 min preschool class and our 3 week/2 hr beginning Commercial classes. The audition process, learning to take directrion and trusting their new enviroment will lead the beginning actor to discover their own unique on-camera personality no matter what age they are starting.

ADVANCED LEVEL -
SCENES FOR KIDS OR TEENS: "AUDITION TRAINING"
This 4 day/2 hr. class is the next step for young actors who have taken a commercial class and want to learn about film and television acting and auditioning. Students will learn script analysis, character development, improvisation skills and audition training. As with all of our programs, tons of fun and lots of info!

PUTTING SCENES ON DVD WITH COACHING -
$95.00 (HST included) for 1.5 hrs. DVD or posted to an FTP site for emailing through Astral Video.
For An Audition -
Please come as prepared as you can, script memorized with wardrobe choices.
Making a DVD -
Some talent agents like to see new talent's work on tape, so they may request a DVD of a new actor performing two contrasting scenes. We recommend calling us to help you make the very best first impression with that talent agent. Class tapes are not a good representation of an actor's work.
If you need to put scenes on a DVD, we can coach and tape for you.

ACTING BUSINESS SEMINAR FOR PARENTS
Held once a month, this one hour seminar is essential for any parent who:
- is just getting started in the acting business and doesn't know very much about this crazy business
- have children or teens who are already auditioning but feel a little lost with so much information out there
- are looking for a new talent agent and need some advice
The seminar includes a 25 page booklet full of information of how to get a talent agent, headshots, union information, child labour laws and more!

INDEPENDENT FILM WORK
KOAC occasionally receives audition notices from independent film production companies needing young actors for their projects. As a bonus for being a student at KOAC, you will be emailed any casting audition notices KOAC receives from independent film companies. You will have to arrange your audition time with that casting director.
It's usually a volunteer position but it's a great way to build your resume and see how a film set works.
